NJONJO COMMISSION OF INQUIRY NOVEMBER 1984
The Late Cecil H.E. Miller was appointed by President Daniel arap Moi to chair the Judicial Commission to Inquire into allegations involving Charles Mugane Njonjo. The inquiry was appointed to inquire into allegations that Njonjo conducted himself in a manner prejudicial to the security of the State, the position of the Head of State, the image of the President, and constitutionally established Government of Kenya among others, allegations that he was party to a conspiracy to overthrow by unlawful means, the government of the Republic of Kenya, during the month of August 1982 or concealment thereof.
